Help and support for troubling hormones
Women of all ages are struggling with the unremitting effects of turbulent and fluctuating hormones. You are invited to a seminar on alternative, natural treatments found to markedly reduce these symptoms.
‘An Evening of Special Interest to Women’ held at Headz for Hair salon, Mangawhai Heads, on February 27 is being brought to the community by ‘Patient Advocate for Natural Hormone Therapy’, a health service dedicated to providing individualised bio-identical hormonal balance helping patients regain health, vitality and enjoyment back in their lives.
Speaker, practice nurse and consultant for the advocacy service for more than 24 years, Felicity Sinden says hormonal imbalance affects everyone differently, producing a wide range of distressing disorders which will be discussed in detail at the seminar.
A nurse with more than 40 years’ experience, Felicity will be talking on a range of symptoms and complaints women experience, including menopause, endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome, infertility, recurrent miscarriages, PMS, postnatal depression, heavy painful periods and thyroid irregularities, acne and hirsutism to name a few.
After testing, a consult can be arranged giving recommendations for ongoing therapy using bio-identical hormones, nutritional supplements, as well as diet and exercise.
Client ages range from teens to ladies in their 80s, working with GPs to offer women and men the most beneficial combination of western medicine and natural treatments. Avaio-identical hormones are only available in New Zealand on prescription.
Patient Advocates are based in Tauranga with the service available nationwide through telephone consultations as well as office appointments. For more information or to get in contact, visit naturalhormonetherapy.co.nz or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
