Wave of records for junior swim champ

Mangawhai Year 10 student Josh Eagle (pictured below) impressed at the Rodney College swimming competition recently, breaking a total of nine records. Two of the records broken by Josh have been held since 1992.

The 100m freestyle and 25m butterfly records were previously set in 1992. Other records broken by Josh were the 25m freestyle, 50m freestyle, 50m breaststroke, 75m medley, 50m backstroke, 25m backstroke and 200m freestyle.

The backstroke and 200m freestyle records were set by Josh in 2012.
