Experience beats youth

The Mangawhai Tennis Club Champs were held in May for the first time in many years with around 30 players scheduled in the competition.

The finals were a gritty test of youth versus experience with Rosanne Davies beating Alana Torrie in the womens final and John White heading Danyon Tana in the mens final. Spectators were treated to some beautiful tennis.

On the day experience won, but it won’t be long before the best players at the club will be some of the youngest.
