Netballers win at Kerikeri

Around 50 Y4-Y8 teams registered on the day meaning stiff competition through the grades.

Both Mangawhai teams played outstanding netball – the Y6 girls won two and lost two, however the Y4 girls won all three of their games, and the final, to secure first place in their grade.

Supporters, parents and coaches are certain they had a helping hand in the result, but are justifiably proud of all the girls who contributed to such a successful tournament.

The winning Y4 team, pictured above, is Skye Watene, Georgia Penjueli, Danielle de Baugh, Tamsin Grant, Hallie Berry, Mackenzie Glover, Olivia Platt, and Eve Hampson.

The Y6 team was Ella Leonard, Mya Hiraka-Wilson, Mya Dunlop, Beth Horne, Nikki Wood, Zavannah Aitken, Nakeyta Barnes, and Ella Grant.
