Venues and Events Whangarei are excited to announce the entertainment line-up for the Whangarei Fritter Festival on Saturday March 29 at Toll Stadium.
Headlining the festival will be Kora, one of New Zealand’s most powerful live bands, joined by Ladi6, dDub, Kurfew and Juice on the Loose.
Festival MC will be Northland comedian and Kiwi Faves host Aaron Beard.
“With another great line-up of acts, combined with great food, wine, entertainment and music, the Whangarei Fritter Festival is well on its way to becoming a feature on New Zealand’s calendar of summer music events,” says Venues and Events Marketing and Events Manager Rachel O'Gorman.
Kora’s 2007 self-titled album solidified the group as one of New Zealand’s most popular acts, shooting to the top of the NZ album chart. Kora’s unique style will make them festival favourites
Award-winning Ladi6 has been a vital part of the NZ hip hop scene since its inception.
One of New Zealand’s best loved live acts, the dDub crew combine to create an elevating musical experience not to be missed.
Kurfew is one of Whangarei’s most loved covers bands. An accomplished professional team with strong female vocals supported by talented musicians, Kurfew has been entertaining crowds for nine years.
Juice on the Loose is a rhythm and blues band based in Auckland whose music covers such blues heavy weights like BB King, Eric Clapton, John Mayer, and Robert Cray.
