Auckland Home Show leads the wayAbout to launch into its 36th year, the 2013 Auckland Home Show continues to be the go-to exhibition for building, renovating, home improvements and sustainable living. The show will be taking over the ASB Showgrounds on September 11-15, and as the largest and longest running event of its kind in Australasia, is expecting more than 30,000 visitors. Any uncertainty about the renovation and building industry has disappeared as the five day event keeps revealing positivety and confidence amongst homeowners, buyers and doerupperers. With more than 500 exhibitors, confidence is also high amongst retailers and suppliers. This year, there will be a focus on interaction with experts, so visitors can meet and talk with specialists in all things renovation, design, landscaping and sustainability and take home relevant and helpful tips on how to improve their projects. There will also be some fantastic features including the Smeg Cooking Theatre which will be abuzz with live cooking demonstrations by world class chefs, as well as The Working Space Module which will showcase how technology is integrated in homes of the future. Anyone in need of some further design inspiration can source some fantastic ideas from the Resene Design Renovate Decorate Seminar. Experts will be shar-ing the latest in colour trends, decoration, and budgeting. And as an Auckland Home Show first, an app will be launched which will include competitions, maps, show specials, new products, timetables and links to social media.
