Possums beware! Paparoa residents are again on the war path to rid the countryside of these pesky critters in their annual possum purge.
Now an annual fundraising event run by the Paparoa Primary School PTA this is a lesson in firearms safety for young and old, and also an exercise in the damage which possums can inflict on our protected flora and fauna. Possum diseases can also endanger the reputation of our farming industry.
