Waipu juniors play home of rugby

Waipu JB2’s future All Blacks, coached by Jared Dobson and Mutch Urlich, played a curtain raiser for the Blues versus Highlanders game at Eden Park on April 5. 

Playing Silverdale, tries were scored by Jacob Urlich, Michael Ryland, Hunter Dobson and Alex Greatorex, with Waipu winning the game 4-1. 

The second game against Te Papapa proved to be more challenging and Waipu finished off second best but the experience was one the boys and their families will never forget!
