KSA awards celebrates milestone

ksa award winners 2014(copy)Over 120 people turned up for the Kaiwaka Sports Association Sports Awards Dinner held recently, celebrating 30 years of the awards.

The special anniversary was commemorated with a PowerPoint presentation of highlights and past winners, followed by a ceremonial cake cutting performed by patron Brian Jaques.

Emcee John Markby, from More FM, read the profiles of the 28 nominees and made mention of how hard the voting must have been with such a high calibre of nominees, particularly in the Junior category. All nominees received a gift, with thanks to Tim Holdgate from the ANZ Bank.
