A letter of thanks
I recently hiked the three day section of the Te Araroa Trail that runs from Marsden Point to Pakiri and what an absolutely stunning piece of the coast this really is. The Waipu Cove Walk and the Mangawhai Cliffs Walk were particularly impressive along with the local campgrounds, cafes, restaurants and the friendly locals that I met all along the way.

Thanks Debbie [Debbie’s Flax Studio] for a very cool homestay in Mangawhai too, and I enjoyed the fruit. This three day trip was one of the best of many of wandering on foot around this fantastic country. I noticed that quite a bit of the time around Waipu and Mangawhai I was travelling through private land and I would like to acknowledge those farmers and landowners for their generous acts of making this walk possible. I trod carefully and admired your magnificent views. Thanks, it was appreciated!
