New president to lead rotary

 

Maungaturoto and Districts Rotary Club has had a leadership change. Mangawhai’s Bruce Nelder (pictured above) takes over the role from retiring president Jim Taylor, who says he is pleased to be handing the reigns over to such capable hands.

Bruce Nelder was an aircraft engineer and came to Mangawhai to be a dairy farmer in 1998. He has been on the Mangawhai Beach School Board and active in Blue Light. 

The youngest member of the very busy club, Bruce says he is proud to be president and looks forward to the challenge.
