Sprint Finish

 

Star Rodney College sprinter Georgia Brierly (left) just pips team mate Louisa Tubailagi to the finish line in the senior girls 100m at the recent Northland Secondary Schools Athletics meet held at the Trigg Sports Arena in Whangarei. Head girl Brierly took home three golds from the event.

Other team members who topped the podium included junior boys Xavier Edmonds Cooper (Shot put) and Toby Henderson (300m), junior girl Caitlin Heke (Javelin), intermediate boy Jackson Brierly (800m, 1500m), senior boy Jesse Manuell (400m), and senior girl Georgia Brierly (100m, 200m, 400m).
