Rebus president makes a statement

Rebus Club president Gordon Lees surprised everyone at their April 15 meeting, turning up dressed as a strange bearded lady. Gordon was, of course, making a statement that the organisation was well overdue for a female in charge. 

Point made, normal business resumed. Main speaker was David Foster, recounting a trip he and Linda took on the Ghan railway in 2019. 

Next meeting is May 20, 2pm at the Community hall, Fagan Place, Mangawhai.
