Take the Art Trail and support the local art community

The Mangawhai Art Trail is a great chance to fill your weekend with stunning art in all forms.

Held over the last weekend of the month, February 27 and 28, 10am–4pm both days, this years Art Trail is exciting and varied with something for everyone – 43 artists sharing 22 venues around the greater Mangawhai region.

The trail is free for participants and maps can be downloaded from the website, or picked up from the Mangawhai Artists Gallery at 45 Moir St, opposite Bennett’s chocolate shop and cafe.

This is a great opportunity to meet artists working at home in their studios, or in a shared space locally, and to visit the latest art exhibition at the gallery.

Venue 7 is offering afternoon tea on Saturday from 2–4pm with tea or coffee and cake for $5 so schedule this into your planning.

Art and ceramics will also be for sale at various venues.
