Family fun at Mangawhai Beach School

 

Sack races, netball games and tug-o-war had Mums, Dads, students and teachers in competition with one another at Mangawhai Beach School’s Family Picnic. A large number of families attended on April 7, the event allowing a chance to socialise and have some fun outside school hours. The evening concluded with a much-anticipated lolly scramble.

1 Girls take on the obstacle course, which included hula-hooping and sack racing.

2 Wrestling down big brothers kept the younger boys amused.

3 Dads leapt and fumbled their way down the obstacle course.

4 Junior boys attempt to heave junior girls across the line, but the girls proved too strong however and won the war!
