Big car & bike show returns

February 5, 2023, is the date for the return of the great Waipu Lions Car & Bike Show at Caledonian Park in Waipu. This year the major sponsor is Northpine with continued support from many other businesses and sponsors.

The show is set to be another huge success. This year most of the money raised will be donated to the Waipu Cycle & Walkway to Waipu Cove, with the remainder donated to several groups who assist on the day.

“Previously, we had over 700 cars and 120 motorbikes,” says Waipu Lions president Malcolm Norton, “and we have raised over $100,000 with previous shows.”

With food stalls and many themed vendors, I’m sure there is something for everyone.”

Organisers are encouraging visitors to the show to fill out the People’s Choice cards, the ultimate prize in the show, along with 21 other separate prize classes.

Gates open to the public from 10am and the show concludes at 2pm. Entry is $10.
