Being the only true ‘Mangawhai’ paper makes the Focus the paper of choice not only for locals but for an ever-widening gallery of readers, advertisers and contributors through it’s coverage of interesting and varied content which appeals to the wider cross-section of the community.

Covering the area from Bream Bay in the north to Warkworth in the south plus the Kaipara follows the trails of local people who work and play from Whangarei to Auckland.  Children too, who go to school from Rodney college to Wellsford, Otamatea High School, Waipu and Bream Bay and play sport and inter-school activities over a wide area also generate interest and add to the colourful fabric of our coverage area.
